Squidler + Spiris

Your agent in Spiris Bokföring & Fakturering, with Spiris's own permissions.

Connect a company in Spiris Bokföring & Fakturering (formerly Visma eEkonomi) and your Squidler agent can answer questions about the books, keep track of what is unpaid, prepare customer invoices, register supplier invoices with their receipts and post vouchers — from Slack, Teams, Telegram, email or the web. Read and write are granted separately per area, and Spiris enforces them as well as we do.

Each company is connected on its own, and each area is off, read-only or writable.
What is unpaid, straight from the company — and a reminder drafted only when you ask for it.
Last month's result, worked out from the SIE export, with what deserves a second look.

What your agent does with it

Answers about the books

Customer and supplier invoices, vouchers, account balances, VAT reports, customers, suppliers and articles — read from the live company and explained in plain language, on whichever channel you ask.

Chasing what is unpaid

The agent watches due dates and remaining amounts on customer and supplier invoices and tells you before anything turns late — on a schedule you set.

Invoices, drafted for your approval

Prepares a customer invoice as a draft, shows you the PDF exactly as the customer would see it, and only books or sends it when you say so.

Supplier invoices with their receipts

Registers the supplier invoice, attaches the receipt or invoice scan from wherever it arrived, proposes the account coding and leaves it as a draft for you to approve.

Month-end and year-end

Vouchers, account balances, VAT reports and an SIE export on request — the material for a closing, pulled together for you.

How access works

Three areas, read and write separate — and Spiris enforces them too
Sales, Bookkeeping and Purchasing are each off, read-only or writable, and they are Spiris's own permissions: a read-only area is one the connection was never granted write for, so Spiris refuses a write itself. Our gate on top refuses it before it leaves Squidler. Widening an area means approving the company again at Spiris; narrowing is instant.
Irreversible steps need your word
Some changes the area allows cannot be undone — voiding an invoice, importing an SIE file, changing opening balances, deleting a customer or supplier. The agent is refused those unless you have asked for exactly that, and your instruction is written to the audit trail.
Read-only until you say otherwise
Every area starts read-only. You turn write on per area — supplier invoices but not vouchers, customers but not payments — and the agent is refused anything outside that, before the request leaves Squidler.
One company per connection
Each company is connected and permissioned on its own. An accounting bureau connects one client company per ledger and gives each exactly the access that client agreed to — read-only for one, supplier invoices writable for another.
The agent asks before it books
A voucher can only be corrected with a reversing one, so an agent proposes the whole set first — amount, account, period — and books only after you say yes. Everything it does in the books is logged, and you can disconnect at any time.

How to connect

  1. 01

In Spiris, switch on the Spiris Integration module for the company — it is under Fler funktioner in the menu on the left.

  2. 02

Open your agent in Squidler and go to Settings → Integrations → Spiris.

  3. 03

Choose which areas the connection covers and, for each, read or write.

  4. 04

Sign in to Spiris and pick the company. Your choice becomes the permissions of the connection itself.

  5. 05

Done. The agent introduces itself with what it can now see. Widening an area later is one more approval at Spiris; narrowing it is instant.

The connection belongs to the person who approves it at Spiris: if they change their Spiris password, the company has to be approved again. A company has to have finished Spiris's own startup guide before anything can read it.

Hire one, connect Spiris, and get going.

Pick a specialist, add it to your channels, and grant only the access it needs. It takes minutes.
