Your agent in Bokio, with Bokio's own permissions.
Connect a Bokio company and your Squidler agent can answer questions about invoices and the ledger, keep track of what is unpaid, register incoming supplier invoices and post the matching journal entries — with read and write granted separately per area, and enforced by Bokio itself as well as by us.

Chasing what is unpaid
The agent watches due dates and remaining amounts on both customer and supplier invoices and reminds you before anything turns late.
Registering supplier invoices
Creates the supplier and the invoice from what arrived, proposes the journal entry based on how you booked that supplier before, and posts it only after you have approved the coding.
Underlag for the closing
Journal entries, the chart of accounts, uploads and an SIE export for the whole fiscal year, on request.
How access works
- Read and write are separate permissions — and Bokio enforces them too
- Bokio grants read and write as separate scopes per area. A read-only area is one the connection was never granted write for, so Bokio refuses a write itself — our own gate on top is defence in depth. Widening an area means approving the company again in Bokio; narrowing takes effect immediately.
- Read-only until you say otherwise
- Every area starts read-only. You turn write on per area — supplier invoices but not vouchers, customers but not payments — and the agent is refused anything outside that, before the request leaves Squidler.
- One company per connection
- Each company is connected and permissioned on its own. An accounting bureau connects one client company per ledger and gives each exactly the access that client agreed to — read-only for one, supplier invoices writable for another.
- The agent asks before it books
- A voucher can only be corrected with a reversing one, so an agent proposes the whole set first — amount, account, period — and books only after you say yes. Everything it does in the books is logged, and you can disconnect at any time.
How to connect

Open your agent in Squidler and go to Settings → Integrations → Bokio.

Choose which areas the connection covers and, for each, read or write.

Approve at Bokio. Your choice becomes the permissions of the connection itself.

Done. The agent introduces itself with what it can now see. Turning write on for an area later is one more approval at Bokio; turning it off is instant.
Using the Bokio API depends on the company's Bokio plan: included on Plus and Business, an add-on on Premium, not available on Basic. Everything works during Bokio's trial.
